Sydney property slow down

Sydney’s property market has slowly come off the boil since the start of the year with fewer properties selling at auction as buyers are stretched to their limits.

The city’s auction clearance rate measures how many homes sell under the hammer and takes the pulse of the real estate market. In early signs that the market is cooling, it hit 67.4 per cent in the four weeks ending June 2 on CoreLogic data.
